Thank you for your interest in applying for a Community Grant from the OneFamily Foundation.

Please note, only OneFamily customers with a live policy are eligible to apply for a Community Grant.

We assess every application on its individual merit however the following basic principles will be applied during the review process. For further information, please refer to our terms and conditions.

The nominated organisation/cause will:

  • Benefit the local community
  • Be a non-profit organisation
  • Be inclusive and accessible to members of the community
  • Be based within the UK.

When an Applicant nominates a Project for a Community Grant, The Foundation will assume that the organisation leading the Project provides its consent to being contacted regarding the Nomination. If the Applicant is unsure whether the organisation is prepared to be contacted by The Foundation or OneFamily they should seek consent from the relevant individual(s) at the organisation before submitting the Nomination.

2. Are you the key contact for the group your are nominating?*

Please be aware if you tick ‘No’ and the application is successful we will contact the group directly. So you must make sure the group is aware of your nomination and happy for you to submit this on their behalf.

3. Address for the Community Group or local Organisation:

A brief explanation is fine.

Remember, the grant must be for a specific need such as equipment or running costs (for example specialist training for volunteers or staff for a disabled group, garden seating and planting for a hospice or refurbishment of a vital community facility).

6. Please provide cost breakdown of how the funding will be spent. Ensure that you make the most of the funding available.

How much will each item or activity cost, and what is the total amount of funding you are requesting? Be as accurate as possible.

Each field must be completed, however if you have less than 3 cost items, please input 'N/A' in the remaining item and cost field(s). Use the Any other information section if you have more items.






Please note that the maximum grant amount available is £5,000 therefore any additional amount required would need to be funded by the nominated organisation.
