How do I update the date of birth on an account?
If you need to change your date of birth, you’ll have to contact us. You can do this by logging into your account and sending us a secure message, or by calling us on 0344 8 920 920. Our call centre is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5.30pm.
We may need to see some documents showing your correct date of birth, we can accept one of the following:
- Birth Certificate
- Passport
- Driving License
- any other official document showing the correct date of birth.
All documents must be in English or accompanied by a translation. Photocopies of the translations must be certified by the translation company.
Please note: You can only change a child’s date of birth if they’re under 18 and you’re the Registered Contact on a Child Trust Fund or Junior ISA or the nominated parent or guardian on a Junior Bond. If the child is 18 or over they need to inform us of the change themselves.
