Since we launched our Foundation in 2015 we’ve helped our customers achieve great things and impacted the lives of more than 350,000 people across the UK. Meet some of the groups and individuals who have already benefited.

Who: AM Soccer Club

Where: Scotland

What: Community Project

Community football club, AM Soccer, received funding through our Foundation to invest in its walking football sessions. The programme is aimed at keeping older people in the community physically and socially active by running weekly classes free of charge.

Who: Open Country

Where: North Yorkshire

What: Community Project

Harrogate-based charity, Open Country, received a OneFamily Foundation Community Grant after it was nominated for funding in 2018.

The charity has bases across Yorkshire and was set up to make the countryside more accessible to people with physical disabilities. The funding from the Foundation has enabled the group to buy an electric bike that’s been specially adapted for wheelchair users.

What: Community Project

SportsAble is a charity that provides a variety of sporting opportunities for able and disabled members. It was nominated to receive funding through our Community Grants to continue funding its wheelchair basketball sessions.

Who: St Tudy Playing Field Trust

Where: Cornwall

What: Community Project

In 2017 the St Tudy Playing Field Trust applied for funding through the OneFamily Foundation. The group was successful in receiving an award which enabled them to build a state of the art playground in memory of a much-loved preschool manager, Claire who tragically passed away.
