Terri is a mother of two and has extensive experience of working in Human Resources, rising in the profession for more than 20 years.

She started out in local government before moving into the travel industry where she has worked for big brand names including British Airways Travel Shops and e-bookers.com, before joining Virgin Holidays where she has held senior HR roles for the last 12 years.

She has led an award-winning team during her time at Virgin and is also a mentor for the Aspire Foundation and is a well-known speaker - including appearing as a guest expert for the Women Like Us website offering advice on aligning work and personal goals.

CEO of OneFamily Simon Markey said: “It is fantastic to have someone of Terri’s calibre joining OneFamily and she will help to shape our people plan so we have the best teams in place to continue our dynamic growth programme.”

Terri’s priority will be to create a people strategy that’s aligned to the mutual’s business plan which currently employs more than 500 people at its Brighton headquarters. “I will be taking a holistic approach designed to attract, engage and retain the best talent. It’s an extremely exciting time for OneFamily as they continue to grow and develop, creating a truly modern mutual. It’s a great time for people to join us on our journey,”said Terri.
