Kear guided the Wildcats from the jaws of relegation at the end of last season, and has so far tossed the form book out of the window by turning his team in to a real force this year.
March saw notable wins for Kear’s men against Catalans, Warrington and his former employer Hull, at the KC Stadium. There was also a narrow defeat against Leeds, a game which they almost pinched following an impressive second half comeback.
On receiving his award Kear said:
“It’s always nice to win such accolades. The guys have acquitted themselves really well, ultimately they’ve worked hard and reaped the achievements. We need to keep the consistency and match our high standards throughout the season.”
