Engage Mutual Assurance announced today that it has extended its title sponsorship of Rugby League’s Super League until the end of the 2008 season.

The inaugural year of Super League sponsorship has proved highly successful in launching Engage Mutual Assurance as a new, family focused brand in financial services. The Engage brand has established itself as a leading provider of Child Trust Funds and has used the sponsorship to highlight this, and its other savings and protection products.

Looking to the future

Commenting on the agreement, Andrew Haigh, Chief Executive of engage Mutual Assurance, said, “We are delighted to announce the extension of our partnership with the Rugby Football League as title sponsors of Super League. The sponsorship is a fantastic platform from which to drive awareness of the Engage brand, both within the Rugby League heartlands and nationwide.”

He added, “We are now looking forward to building on our first season and extending the sponsorship to 2008 will allow all involved to benefit from the opportunities and certainty that a longer agreement presents. We already have a programme of activity planned that we hope will add real value for fans”.

Richard Lewis, Executive Chairman of the Rugby Football League added, “We are delighted that we are extending our partnership with Engage Mutual Assurance. The relationship between the League, its clubs and supporters and the Engage brand continues to develop well and offers great benefit to all parties. Both Engage and the Super League share the same family values and family audience and have already proved themselves to be tremendous partners. We look forward to working with them during the seasons ahead”.
