Will writing service

Provided by The
Co-operative Legal Services

Where do you start when making your will? How do you know if you’ve got all of the important things covered? And how do you make changes to your will if it’s already been written? These might not be questions that you know the answers to, but you will need to consider them at some point if you want to specify what should happen after you die.

The Co-operative Legal Services could help you to answer key questions.

What does the free initial advice cover?

The advice covers:

  • Initial discussions on what to include in your will, or how to update an existing will.
  • The role of executors in probate and estate administration.
  • Appointing someone else to manage your affairs on your behalf whilst you’re still alive.
  • How to put plans in place in case you become seriously unwell, or physically or mentally disabled.

You might find that you’re able to make your will once you’ve considered this initial guidance – if not, the Co-operative Legal Services can draft it for you. Their fees are fixed, and they’ll confirm these with you before they begin.
