OneFamily Christmas Giveaway 2024 - Prize Draw Terms and Conditions (T&Cs)

(Effective from 19 September 2024 to 14 November 2024)

This document sets out the terms and conditions applicable to the OneFamily Christmas Giveaway 2024 Prize Draw [‘The Prize Draw']. Participants should keep a copy of these terms and conditions.

  1. OneFamily reserves the right to amend or alter the terms and conditions of The Prize Draw at any time, without notice.
  2. The promoter of The Prize Draw is OneFamily. OneFamily is a trading name of Family Assurance Friendly Society Limited (incorporated under the Friendly Societies Act 1992, Reg. No. 939F), Family Investment Management Limited (Co. No. 1915516) and Family Equity Plan Limited (Co. No. 2208249). Registered in England & Wales at 16-17 West Street, Brighton, BN1 2RL, United Kingdom.
  3. Participants will be entered into The Prize Draw automatically if they open a new OneFamily product [‘New Product’] between 19 September 2024 and 14 November 2024. The New Product can be a Junior ISA, Lifetime ISA or Stocks and Shares ISA.
  4. Anyone that does not want to be entered into The Prize Draw can opt out by contacting the OneFamily marketing team at [email protected].
  5. The Prize Draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over.
  6. Employees of OneFamily are not eligible to enter.
  7. Entry to The Prize Draw will open 00:00 on 19 September 2024 and will close on 23:59 on 14 November 2024 (‘The Closing Date'). Any participant who opens a New Product after The Closing Date will not be entered into The Prize Draw. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  8. There will be one winner in The Prize Draw, and five runners up. The Prize for the winner is an e-gift card with a value of £500 for John Lewis. The Prize for the runners up is an e-gift card with a value of £100 for John Lewis.   9. The e-gift cards should be treated like cash and kept securely. They will not be replaced if lost or stolen.
  10. The Prizes are as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The Prizes are not transferable and are subject to availability. OneFamily reserve the right to substitute any part of The Prizes with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
  11. The winners and runners up of The Prize Draw will be chosen at random after The Closing Date and the decision shall be final and binding. OneFamily shall not enter into correspondence in relation thereto.
  12. All winners and runners up of The Prize Draw will be contacted by email no later than 2 weeks after The Closing Date, to notify them that they have won. Customers must provide a valid email address in order to be able to successfully redeem the e-gift card should they win.
  13. If a winner or runner up does not respond within 21 days, or if their entry does not meet these terms and conditions, their entry will be discounted, and another winner or runner up will be chosen in their place. Once a new winner or runner up has been chosen, the original winner's or runner up’s entry will be void and they will not be eligible to claim The Prize.
  14. The winners and runners up of The Prize Draw are responsible for any expenses incurred as a result of receiving The Prize.
  15. In any case of circumstances beyond OneFamily's reasonable control, OneFamily reserve the right to cancel, extend or shorten the period of participation or alter in any way whatsoever the terms and conditions of The Prize Draw.
  16. OneFamily reserve the right to withhold or combine The Prize/s in case of insufficient quality of entries.
  17. OneFamily cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any participant entering The Prize Draw or as a result of accepting The Prizes. Nothing shall exclude OneFamily’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
  18. OneFamily must either publish or make available information that indicates that valid awards took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of Prize winners to anyone who writes to OneFamily Christmas Giveaway Prize Draw, Marketing Team, OneFamily, 16-17 West Street, Brighton, East Sussex, BN1 2RL (enclosing a stamped addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date stated in condition 8. If you object to any or all of your surname and county being published or made available, please contact us in such circumstances. OneFamily must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
  19. In the event of any legal dispute in relation to The Prize Draw, English law will apply, and the dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
